Blue Tint...thumbs up or down

Hey...I was thinking about getting this Blue Titanium tint from Llumar. The local guy is quoting me $185 for all windows except the front on my E46 four door.

What do you guys think...should I stick to a regular smoked black?

Thumbs up or thumbs down on the Blue Titanium?

What about a neutral thumb? That picure isn;t the best, so I'm trying to imagine it. I can see it lookign good and I can see it looking bad. Do what you think looks good.

I was going to get it but there are many problems with it. First you WILL get pulled over for it and be forced to remove it. Second is that ALL COLORED TINTS WILL CHANGE COLOR. The tint will be blue now but it wont be in 2 years. You can change the tint in 2 years but then there is extra expense. Third, you get what you pay for with tint and colored tint should not be that cheep. I suggest not doing it. Also are you sure the tint is Llumar because I dont think they make colored tint.

I have Formula One tint and I love it, great color, car is much cooler, and lifetime warrinty. I payed $170 for all the windows and another $180 for the windshield for an all dye Lifetime Warrinty tint.

I have smoked tint on my 318is, photo in the gallery (although I do not know if it shows), but I do not like colored tints.

Don't get the blue tint. I just noticed you have a black car. It'll look weird with blue tint. Just get the normal black tint. Matches your car perfectly. On other colored cars, I suppose you could consider it, but not on a black car.

Doesn't the Mercedes come with blue tinted windows normally? I can't remember if it was part of the Sport Package or not.

Ya Mon, stick with the black tint. Your black car will look uber cool with black tint. I think colored tints look ricey, and a BMW could never be rice, but it could give a ricey overtone.

Yeh, I don't know how it would match the color of your car, but if it matches I like the blue tint. Sort of like the side mirrors on most new german cars, have this blueish tint, looks very nice

The colored tint can look cool, but on a black car I would stick with black tint.

Agree...blue tint won't look good on your black car.
