SACD

I was wondering if anyone knew if BMW was going to add SACD or DVD-Audio to their cars. The BMW people at the Chicago auto show didn't even know what SACD was. I know some auto makers like Acura are adding DVD-A but I don't think anyone has SACD yet. SACD sounds simply amazing by the way. I'm looking to get the 2005 or 2006 3 series whenever that comes out so I hope it has it. Thanks.

do they even have many aftermarket head units w/ SCAD or DVD-A?

manufacs don't really like to go out of their way to spend more money on their car, unless they really have to imo.. i'll just stick to my mp3 burnt cds

There might be DVD-A aftermarket players but there are not any SACD ones at this point. SACD sounds amazing and if I were buying a $60,000 BMW, I would expect the best and to have at least what the Acura TL has (DVD-A). Will all the "universal" DVD players coming out now, you think it would be fairly simple for carmakers to add this. I'd also like to see bluetooth added to BMWs (like the Toyota Prius). I'm going to get the new 3 series when it comes out anyway but it'd be nice to have this. Thanks for the input.
