How can I get 3 x 600KB photos on my threads?

I'm trying to post some pictures on a thread and keep getting told they are too large. Initially I tried a 3.2MB photo (at 2560x1920), I was told I only had 2MB of space. I took some more pics at a lower recorded pixel level (1024x768) resulting in 600KB photos and was told I only had 68.4KB of space!

I know, it's probably something very obvious that I'm not doing..........

Are you using an image hosting service? Have you resized the photos?

No on both counts. Can you advise on how to go about this. As I said in my first thread, this forum thing is all new to me, hence the problems I'm having. I would like to get it sorted then I can show you all some pictures.

Use a free image hosting service such as photobucket.com, load your photos there then copy the image header into the image url located when you click add the image icon here at the board. NOw that is clear as mud....

Er, I think that makes sense.......I'll give it a try and if you find a new thread with photos attached you'll know I understood. If not, we could be back at square one........

Ok, do not give up, I am not the best helper here. I moved the thread to the support and feedback center so that maybe you will get more help here.

Dan is correct, those images are way too big. You will need to resize them before uploading.
