New tires are they any good?

My old tires I just replaced were real nice but at a high price and didn't last worth beans. Michelin pilot sport 255/45zr18 99y MS and I just put on some Bf Goodrich G-force TA KDW 255/45zr18 99y What do you all think? I know the BF GOODRICH were 1/2 the price of the Michelin's..

Michelin Pilot Sports are pretty good performance tires, I am running them on my car right now. I think they do a good job of blending good "everyday" drivability with really good performance when you're doing some spirited driving.

Michelin Pilot Sports are an ultra high performance tire with a low tread wear rating. You sacrifice tread wear rating for performance (stickiness). The BF Goodrich G Force are a good tire and will last longer, but do not compete with the Sports in handling. It is all a trade off and depends what is most important to you.

Thanks for the input as I do not see me entering any tour races or racing around Los Angeles any time soon. I was looking for a good tire with good handling at a fraction of the cost of the old ones. I do like the look of the BF Goodrich though and at a speed of 80 mph on the 405 they seemed to work fine. Again thanks for the input.
