I just read about this in one of the car rags. It seems that Steve Saleen has packed his bags, and is no longer in command of Saleen motors. This car is the first release since the change. Unlike the S7, which is a slightly detuned race car. This car is actually made to be a more civilized tractable road car. It should be interesting reading the reviews. (dreams are a wonderful thing)...
